LOOKING FORWARD...

This is the other half of my LOOKING BACK entry. This, obviously states all the things that I am looking forward to this 2012. All the best for me.

First on the list, I am looking forward that our family will be more happy and healthy than ever, even though Mama and Papa are now based in Pangasinan, we still find time to see each other once in a while.

I'm also looking forward to financial stability and to career growth. There's no other way than to go up! Hehehe...

I'm also looking forward to gaining more friends and acquaintances. I'm very positive about this since I'm now a Blackberry user. Hahaha...

Of course, I'm looking forward to more travels in and out of the country. i noticed that I kinda slowed down my pace last year, but no regrets.

I'm looking forward to coming back to Boracay. I just so love the island. Like hello, this is a recording! Hahaha.

Lastly, my search is not yet over. And I'm not giving up on love that easy so the quest is still on. I'm still out in the battlefield looking forward to findind my love (And I think that he's now around the corner, like I can feel it! )

This is the first part of my year end blog.

Let's get started...

This year, I can never forget the trips I made to Boracay last April for Rated K. I've been very vocal on saying that I really really love the island and would give anything to get back on the island again.

Of course, who can forget when I brought my family to Boracay to celebrate my birthday last May. It was such a fulfillment for me.

This year also fulfilled my long time dream of having a car and that's Luisa.

This is also the year when I became a Blackberry and a tablet user. Now I'm becoming more techie. Lol.

This year is the year when Zelda and I got into a mishap and it's been 7 months now and still counting that the two of us are not yet doing any efforts to patch things up. (In time...)

This year, I got to spend Christmas in our province in Pangasinan together with my Mama and Papa and some relatives.

This year, I became more mature and looked into life in another perspective.

This year, I may have been not that lucky in terms of love but I do know that my waiting will soon be over and when that day comes, I know it's worth the wait.

This year, I learned a lot of things in life that I will surely be helpful as I go on with my life.

Looking back, it has been a wonderful 2011 for me. Another rollercoaster ride. There have been bumps along the road but just like what they always say, it's not the journey that counts but the destination and that destination is about to unfold in just a few days from now.

Goodbye 2011...don't worry, I will always look back.

This December, I went to Isabela for my last out of town shoot for Rated K for 2011.

The shoot went well. It was suppose to be a 3-day coverage but me and my team got the work done around lunchtime on our second day.

Heading back to Manila, everybody agreed to stop by Nueva Vizcaya to buy the very delicious Buko Pie. Aswe parked in front of the establishment, I thought of getting my camera and take some shots of the place so I can blog it.

I asked the driver to hand me the key so I can get my camera in my bag at the back of the pick-up truck. After i opened the trunk, I reached for my bag which is at the far end of the trunk. Then, blagag! I hit my head so hard on the roof of the trunk. Why? I got surprised of the ducks which my driver bought along the way resulting to a bleeding head. Ouch! Believe me, it really hurts!!!

GOOD FRIENDS ALWAYS HAVE GOOD TIMES

Sometime before November ends, I met up with good friends Ross and Paul for a night of Frozen Margarita.

We chose 1920 Bar and Restaurant for their Php500 plus only of three (3) pitchers of Frozen Margarita inclusive of one pulutan, Cheese Sticks.

The night should have ended with just three pitchers but then again, like the old times, crazy stuffs and ideas came so right after we paid for the bill, we fetched a cab and told the driver to bring us to Malate. Yup, you read it right, Malate! The haven of people mostly occupied by people from the LGBT Group.

We went to O-Bar and danced the night away.

RITCHEL AND TED MORGAN'S CIVIL WEDDING...

Three weeks ago, while I was out in The Fort and having some quality time with James (soon to be revealed in a separate entry) I got a phone call from Lyn saying that our friend Ritchel (she used to work in ABSCBN, and now in TV5) invited us for coffee with Ted, her fiance.

When I got to Starbucks in ELJ, I met up with Lyn and the soon to be husband and wife.

Then came November 15, at Max's Restaurant along Scout Tuazon in Quezon City, the day when Ritchel and Ted's tied the knot through civil wedding.

Everybody who's close to Ritchel was there and witnessed their love for each other down from her family to friends and friends from work.

After the ceremony, we all went to 1920 Bar and Restaurant along Sgt. Esguerra, Quezon City and enjoyed the night.

QUICK GETAWAY DURING THE LONG WEEKEND...

Last Halloween, a long weekend was highly anticipated and celebrated by everyone. Some went home to their provinces, some went to the beach, some stayed home...and that's what I did too.

I was reading tweets that Monday night, then I invited my good friend Ross for a swim the next day, and she said yes. Hehehe. After that, I called up Paul, also one of the closest friends I have and he also agreed.

The next day, Paul was the first one to arrived at 12noon considering we were supposed to meet up at 10am. Anyways, we headed to Meycauayan Tollgate where we will meet Ross and Rose (my so-called protege from my previous blog post)

We rode the tricycle and asked the driver to bring us to North Riverside Resort. Our driver told us that it's close because of the holiday but I insisted. When we reached the resort at 2pm, good thing it's open, but to our dismay the staff told us that we are only allowed until 5pm for they will close early.

The staff of North Riverside were kind enough to suggest a nearby resort, Carino Resort that is.

We went on for another 15 minute tricycle drive to reach Carino Resort.

We were welcomed by Ate, who gave us the good news that the four of us can stay until 10pm. so we paid for our entrance fee. Ate made a quick inspection of our belongings and ate did not allow us to bring the bottle of The Bar inside. She said that there's beer available for Php200.00 a bucket.

Ate escorted us to our table. We immediately changed clothes and ate first. Hahaha. Afterwards, we dipped in the pool.

The resort is clean, and the staffs are nice.

Plus they have videoke. And yes, the four of sang our hearts out. We spent like almost Php500.00 for the videoke tokens. Hahaha.

It was a quick getaway during that long weekend that really took the stress away. We headed back home and had dinner. Then Ross suggested that we watch dvd instead of drinking the bottle of The Bar. We ended the night with two Thai movies, one is suspense and the other one is a romantic comedy.

Looking forward to another long weekend.

EVERYTBODY'S GETTING MARRIED...

This just in!

As I sat in the office in front of the pc and opening my Facebook account, I read a notification inviting me to a wedding that will happen February of next year. To my surprise, it's my good friend and classmate from highschool, Jolly Anne aka Jolay.

I remember Jolay told me that she wanted me to be in her wedding and I told her that I will surely come. So what I did, I confirmed my attendance to the very important date of their lives so far.

The ceremony will take place at Fernwood Gardens around 2pm.

I'm not really that close to Blue (Jolay's soon to be hubby) but I already met him several times.

If I'm not mistaken...Jolay and Blue's wedding will be the 5th installment to the MIDES' (our section when we graduated from highschool) weddings. Seems like everybody's getting married and you can't help but feel happy for them.

Congratulations Jolay and Blue...best wishes!

LIPGLOSS NIGHT (FOR THE SECOND TIME AROUND)

After that first ever LIPGLOSS night, we all decided to do it again for the second time around.

Unfortunately, Ross and Paulo weren't able to make it that time. Xeng made it with his date.

Of course, we met up at Ian's place. We did a lot of catching up again with each other.
And I got the chance to finally meet Ian's Habibi, JM.

Terry, don's friend from work also joined us that night.

We played PINOY HENYO the LIPGLOSS WAY. Hahaha...

After Ian's place, we moved to Polari... a comedy bar in Tomas Morato. Isaac was asked to go up on stage and sing, then he and Don made a duet. Hehehe.

Then we all decided to part ways.

I chatted with this guy on PR. And when I run again through his profile, I noticed that he posted there a song called THE MAN WHO CAN'T BE MOVED.

I read the lyrics and I thought that I know that song it's just that I'm not aware that that's the title of it.

I immediately googled it and found myself having a new song added in my playlist. Been listening to it's original version, acoustiv, live and even cover versions...and the message of the song is still there and as if every version I listen to never made me not want the song. I just kinda like it more!

So, why am I doing an entry for this song...hmmm...maybe I'm still the man who can't be moved. That even if I already said that I moved on with all my relationships, I still find myself thinking about those guys again and again.

WANDERED IN LEYTE...

Flying to Leyte last week, October 10, 2011 is my sort of first out of town shoot since I came back to writing for Rated K.

While waiting to board the aircraft around 4am on a Monday, I kept of thinking what kind of place Javier, Leyte is.

I've been to Maasin and Villaba...and the experience is just the same. Very laidback. I prefer to use that word instead of boring. Hehehe.

Javier, Leyte is similar to those two places. Not to mention that it's 2 hours away from Tacloban where the airport is situated.

It's a 3-day coverage and sorry to say, I can't share anything instead of these pictures. Hahaha.

Those who been my friends in Facebook and to those following me on Twitter, you're probably wondering who are these people I'm calling as my Lipgloss Girls. Ehem, allow me to introduce them to you one by one.

Ian, has been a good good friend of mine not to mention that we were classmates way back our college days in PUP. He is working in GMA 7 as a segment producer and now he's into directing.

Ross, the only girl in the group. A certified Fag Hag. Hehehe. Sorry for the term. Like Ian, she's also one of my classmates. It's me, Ian and Ross who usually hang out every Friday after class and head to Malate to shindig and of course meet boys. Ross is the Assistant Director to some teleseryes in ABS-CBN like Mara Clara and now the upcoming Budoy.

Don, also my classmate from college together with Ian and Ross. But Don has his own group then.Don's working in the Call Center field. Don is also into photography by the way.

James aka Duran, I met him through Ian. We've known one another for almost 3 years I think. We rarely see each other because of our busy schedules. Like Don, Duran is also in the Call Center field.

Xeng, one of Ian's bestfriend. Obviously, I got to know him because of Ian. A happy person. Also works in the Call Center field.

Paulo, met him during Ian's birthday in Ortigas a couple of years ago. He also works in the Call Center field.

Since we rarely get to see each other, imagine what crazy things we bond.

The agreement started on twitter, and one Saturday night...we all meet up at Ian's place just near GMA 7. There, Lipgloss girls once again bonded. This time, together with Don's current boo, Isaac (one waering glasses) We drank Tequila and all decided to continue the fun in Karaoke Republic along Timog Avenue.

MY NEW ADDICTION...

We all experience tiredness from work due to stress and from people we work with, hehehe. And at the end of the day, all we ever wanted is to be relieved from that STRESS. A STRESS RELIEVER!

My stress reliever (before and um, yeah until now) is to go to a bar with my officemates or friends and let the beer and alcohol drown my stress away.

Lately, I kinda diversed to eating a lot liek a pig. Can't help it. We all love to eat right?!

And now, I'm into massage! Yes, the clean one! :)

I can say that I like the Swedish massage more compared to Thai massage. I love the idea that you can fall asleep while someone is giving you rub.

But last night when me and my so-called protege Rose wandered around Quezon City to look for a good place to get our massage we ended up in TonTon Massage situated at the corner of Tomas Morato Extension.

It's not my first time to have a massage at TonTon's, and I told Rose that this place is good.

I have to give credit to "Ate" whose hands really put some pressure on my aching body.

If i can spend some hard earned money on alcohol, I guess it's also just right to spend it on a massage.

Looking forward to my next massage. Wonder where to go next? Any suggestions?

MY NEW BABY: LUISA

People from work already knew about my plans on getting a car for months now.

The budget started on Php150,000 then went down to Php100,000.

I didn't know that finding a second-hand car could be that tedious. My friend Jessie told me that I should just enjoy the process of looking for MY CAR.

And after like two months of searching and waiting, I finally found her...my new baby, and I named her LUISA, coz I love my mom so much!

I have been not talking to one of my closest and dearest friend Zelda for over three months now.

I must admit, I said somehting not right. That's the problem when a person, like me is too straightforward and vocal about whatever he feels.

Some people from our circle of friends already knew what happened between the two of us. Just a simple rift between two friends.

The long wait was finally over. The supposedly postponed reunion with my classmates from elementary finally happened last Saturday, Agusut 13 held at Jennica's house in Tondo.

We were six all in all, Jennica Valiente, our class valedictorian Rachelle Betterley, Julius Dizon, Rhea Penalosa, Eloisa Matuguinas and yourstruly all walked donw memory lane that Saturday night and did a lot of catching up with one another.

The reunion was 15 years in the making since we graduated from elementary on 1996. And this doens't end here coz we're still planning for a second round for those who didn't make it.

Reunions are always fun!

GOING ASIAN...

Since I'm such a kiss and tell (not that much, hehehe) you are all aware that I've had my share of guys from across the globe, mostly Europeans. I've dated French, Canadian, Swiss, Italian, Portuguese, Australian...but now, I'm going Asian.

One weekend, I received a mail in my Manjam account from Enzo. I clicked his link and run through his profile. Though it never mentioned what nationality he has, he did say that he's not speaking Tagalog. I replied to his message and we agreed to go online in YM.

There, during the conversation I found out that Enzo is a 19-year old Indonesian studying Medtech here in the country.

Fast forward, we dated a couple of times and...yes, you're guess is right. Lol. We slept together and did it as soon as we got in the room and when we woke up the next morning.

Now, that's what you call some Asian cuisine! :)

10th WHITE PARTY

At first, I was kinda hesitant attending this year's White Party. I'm so tired from work, I haven't slept that much and all that but around 5pm last Saturday, I called up Ross if she wanted to come coz I already changed my mind and decided that I will go to Malate and dance the blues away.

We all went to BED. All my girls were there except for Ian. Too bad Xeng didn't have any pic with us. Hehehe.

It was a night of fun, booze, shindig with friends and of course boys. Love it!!!

I remember myself being out in the party scene when I was still in college.

We partied all night long. From am to am...LOL.

UP UP HERE WE GO!

Thrilling! That's how I felt when I rode this so called ultra-light plane.

Imagine, flying at the height of 40,000 feet while sitting on a two-seater plane and you can literally feel the air brushing against you. Not to mention that you only have your seatbelt to protect you. Wah! But mind you, it's one hell of an experience.

For only Php1, 500 or more, you can have this surreal experience for 20 minutes. Totally worth it!

LUNAR ECLIPSE

Last June 16, something spectacular happened and I'm talking about the Lunar Eclipse.

I found out about the phenomena on Twitter and so I stayed up until 2am to experience it.

I don't own any SLR camera, what I only have is my Pola (Polaroid)

MY ISLAND BIRTHDAY GETAWAY

So this year, I decided to spend my 28th birthday in Boracay together with my family. And since it's my birthday, it's just right that the treat is on me. Going to Boracay alone would cost you some money, now imagine bringing your family. But like what the line of the song Price Tag say, "IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY, MONEY, MONEY"

These are just some of what happened in our Boracay vaca.

Next year, mom told me that she wanted to go out of the country. Oh my!!! :)

MY UPCOMING BIRTHDAY...

May 27 is fast approaching. And to people who knows me very well knows how significant that day is for me. It's my fucking birthday. Yey! Gonna turn another year older, rateher wiser. Hehehe.

For this year, I thought of buying myself (also for my family) a 32 inch LCD TV...but my mom said no. Then I thought of buying me a Blackberry, and my mom said no again. Then, I thought of traveling back to Thailand, and yes, my mom said no again. So I just thought of something that I'm pretty sure she would agree. I told her that I'm celebrating my birthday in Boracay...with them. Yes, my mom said yes!

So, this year...I'll be partying, sun bathing, having fun, together with my dad, my mom, my two brothers (Joel and Jeric) with their girlfriends on the side as I turn 28 years old.

Flight's already booked. Be flying on the 26th and be back in Manila on the 28th.

HOLY WEEK BREAK 2011

One of the things people like me who's working in TV look forward to every year, that is the Holy Week break. It's the time aside from Christmas where we get not to think about work and not be with people we call our colleagues. Time to catch up with friends, enjoy the beauty of being alone. Basically, to unwind.

So this year, my friend Carol asked that we got o Puerto Galera since she haven't been to the island. Honestly, I never really wanna go back to Puerto Galera because of some reasons. First, I'm more of a Boracay baby rather than Galera. Second, it brings back memories of my ex, Richard.

Friday morning, we met up with couple Marc and Veronica (from Rated K) at the bus station. Travelled almost 4 hours until we reached the island. We have our room reservations already at Lan-Seir Water Resort. This must be the best place in Puerto galera where you can stay.

We arrived around lunch and decided to eat first. Afterwhich, time for some drinks and videoke!

We finished drinking by dinner time. We took a bath to refresh ourselves and headed out to grab something for dinner. Since its Friday and no loud music and partying is allowed and because I'm kinda drunk, we went back to our hotel to sleep.

The next day, Carol and I got up early and walked towards the beachfront. Time to bask in the sun.

I called to these masahistas along the beach and had myself a relaxing massage.

Around 11am, we grab some beer to quench our thirst. Hehehe.

Veronica and me also tried getting a henna tattoo. I got a cross design while she had the Charmed sign on her.

By lunchtime, my friend Ian texted me saying that he's treating me for lunch. So we just went back to my hotel and ate there. After eating, we bought drinks and sang our hearts out. thanks to the unlimited videoke in the hotel.

Then came Saturday night. We partied but got easily exhausted so we headed back to our hotel and slept. The next day was our trip back to Manila.

Till my next Holy Week break next year...

The place is 9-hectare big, surrounding with trees.

The infinity pool foregrounds a very nice view.

WORK WITH LEISURE IN BORACAY

I flew to Boracay last April 1 for work.

I did a story on the two spa's who offers the best massage/ spa treatment in the island.

Alongside my stay, I met the original She-boom herself, Rachel Lobangco. I love her color, as in!

I have heard of some stories of reunions made possible through Facebook and I never thought that it will also come in my way.

A month ago, I got a notification that my former classmate Gary Lingad tagged me in three photos. When I looked at it, to my surprise...it's our elementary class picture. Hahaha.

I looked at the pictures again. Felt like I am walking down memory lane.

I can't help but to laugh about it. I can barely recall anything that happened to me almost two decades ago. Lol.

And the thread of conversations for these photos went from one to forever.

Looking forward to a reunion sometime this month.

I can still remember how eager I was when Maria Venus Raj bested so many girls during the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant.

I never thought that I'd have an opportunity to be with her for almost half a day.

I brought Venus to Laing Atbp in Quezon City, a small place with a bog surprise. For all you know, Laing Atbp. caters to best laing in Manila, as if you were really in Legaspi and eating the original thing.

The owner of the place is a true-blue Bicolano.

And after Venus' tasted their laing, it was pretty obvious that she's satisfied.

WHAT'S HAPPENING?

As you all know, I work as a writer for Rated K and Segment Producer/Researcher for Salamat Dok. These two positions are already enough reasons to make me busy.

But this January, our Executive Producer from Rated K assigned me to become the Head of the Research pool of Rated K. I don't know his reasons for giving me the task but whatever it is, I sorta accepted it.

Yes, I still write and do research for the two shows but this additional work already taken its toll on me.

I now go home late at night, I 'm not that active on Facebook and Twitter on weekdays, I seldom have the chance to have coffee and make chikahan with colleagues in TOC and the list goes on.

I'm not whining here guys. I kinda loved the (new) position.

So that's what's happening on me lately that's why I don't have much updates on my blog now.

Before my live airing for Salamat Dok last Sunday, I joined my friends Carol and Dai in Banchetto in Ortigas.

Banchetto equals gluttony.

Banchetto is situated along Emerald Avenue in Ortigas, Pasig City. Here you can find a wide array of foods, from pizzas, pastas, pastries, desserts, rice meals and even the ever famous street food, isaw!

The three of us enjoyed walking back and forth and surely had a hard time deciding what to eat.

Banchetto is worth to try most especially to food lovers, like me.

BRIAN'S 28TH BIRTHDAY (THE PARTY I MISSED!)

It all started with Brian's text message sharing his sentiment that our group (Zelda, Me, Ryan, Clarice, Brian and Carina) never had a group picture during the class' xmas party last December 30, 2010.

Zelda and Carina thought of a scheme, a surprise birthday party for Brian. Of course it's not only for the six of us but for all Brian's friends.

The party was set on January 22, 2010...two days after Bri's birthday.

And I did my part by making sure that all or almost all of MIDES should be present on that day.

Ironically, It turned out that I was the one not present during the celebration. Here's what I missed...

It was year 2000 when we (MIDES) graduated from high school.

If you can still remember, last year, 2009, yourstruly organized the first ever MIDES Christmas Party/ Reunion/ Get together. And last December 30, 2010, this Christmas Party/ Reunion/ Get together came to it's second year.

Though this year's get party have less attendees compared last year, I must say that the eagerness and excitement to see long time classmates and friends from high school is still there.

Early this year, Dai and Cholo, two of my good friends from highschool surprised me when they asked me if I can attend their civil wedding.

Before the year 2010 ends, they were added among others who tied the knot during the month of December.

December 19, 2010 at the UST Church, Dai and Cholo's close friends and family members witnessed as they commit a promise to each other.

The reception was held at Plaza Ibarra along Timog Avenue in Quezon City.

I hosted the reception and made sure that everybody enjoyed it. Hehehe.

Some of our classmates from highscool were there too like Brian and Carina, Mael minus Zelda and Carol who's one of the entourage.

CHRISTMAS PARTIES PART 4

Let's skip the part 3, its about the company's Christmas party held last Friday, December 17 at the TOC Grounds. Why are we skipping it? Coz it's boring! Lol!

The next day, December 18...was Rated K's Christmas Party held at Ms. Korina Sanchez' residence in Merville, Paranaque.

This year, the party had a theme...a costume party that is. Almost everybody exerted effort to go to CampSuki to look for a nice costume to wear. I myself got a Gladiator costume, the thing is, it doesn't fit. Hahaha.

Since I belong now to the writer's pool, we agreed to present a Madonna dance number to the tune of course of Madonna's songs.

I don't do usually drag, but since the number requires to dress like a girl, I have no other choice than to put on that white tube dress and asked the make-up artist to glam me up.

Yey, I won Php 3,000 in the raffle.

Like last year, i got so drunk again that I didn't remember anything. The last vivid memory I got was when I threw up in the van while heading back to the office. Geez!

Talk but total drunkard!

I must say that this year's party was the happiest so far in 6 years.

We at Salamat Dok also celebrated our Christmas party very early.

Held last December 6 at Dr. Patawaran's residence in Quezon City. The latter hosted the party including the food.

Our resident volunteers, Dr. Willie and Liza Ong also graced the party.

Me and Ohlala acted as hosts that night. But the real scene stealer would be Ate Iyam who removed her bra just to win the Bring Me Contest. Hahaha.

That Bring Me Contest was soooooooo much fun!

Christmas parties are being held almost everyday since the month of December came.

As early as the first week of December, I attended the first Christmas party on my list, that is the News and Current Affairs of ABSCBN.

Held at PDA Hall, everyone from the NCA group were there same with the on cam talents such as the anchors and reporters. Even Gabby Lopez and Charo Santos-Concio were spotted that night.

Raffles and production numbers kept the crowd going. Not to mention the overflowing of food and drinks.

Last Monday, December 6, 2010 I attended the 2009 ABS-CBN KAPAMILYA AWARDS. It's my first time to attend the event not to mention that it's my first time to receive an award...the 5 year in service award that is!

Gosh, I can't believe that I've been in the company for 6 years already. So far so good.

The company also paid tribute to those people serving in the company for ten years, 15 years and 20 years.

I was with my fellow 5 year awardee herself, Jessie.

It's just that I'm not really sure if I can still wait for five more years to get the 10 year award. Hehehe.

It's December and Christmas parties are being thrown everywhere.

Last week, yourstruly was invited to attend a Christmas party for Max's Restaurant's Media friends.

I arrived around 12nn at Max's in Scout Reyes, Quezon City. I was greeted by Max's PR Kim and escorted me to my table alongside other people mostly from print.

Undoubtedly, Max's fried chicken is really one of the best or should I say the best in town!

I joined the "DESIGN YOUR OWN ECO-BAG" contest but I didn't win. But hey, I won a raffle, a single burner gas stove that is.

Before leaving the party, Max's sent us all a give away, a sample of the upcoming Max's Catsup that is soon to be released in the market.

It's a Sunday and it rained for a while in Boracay as I'm waiting for my two friends Paolo and Jeng.

After joining them in their hotel, La Carmela de Boracay, we went to get some sun and dip in the water while having fruit shakes.

I tried getting a massage from an old lady walking along the beach. Relaxing!

We parted ways at 3pm and agreed to meet up again by dinner time.

By 8pm, I found the two loovebirds dining in a certain resto just near D'Mall. Then off we went to Cocomangas. Time to party baby!

We went home at 2am I guess. As much as I want not to end the night, I have to coz I'm flying back to Manila the next day.

My Boracay trip was splendid, fantabulous, and absofuckinglutely great!

I woke up around 7am. It's my gift, my talent of waking up wearly despite going to bed so late or being drunk.

I had breakfast at the hotel then took a bath.

I was rushing to walk along the beach shore to get some tan. Hahaha! Seriously, that's really part of my agenda. I really love going to the beach, but i'm not a big fan of swimming in the beach. So what I did is I went to Boracay Beach Club and had Pineapple Shake, I turned the music player on my phone and got my sun tan on the bench. Relaxing. Of course, taking pictures is also part of the trip.

After being exposed under the sun for almost four hours, I went for a little dip in the water. It's so seldom that I do this. I don't really enjoy swimming in the sea.

Then I decided to get back to the hotel and freshen up. Afterwhich, I had lunch at D'Mall then head back to Boracay Beach Club and got 4 bottles of beer at 2pm. By the time I'm done drinking, I got myself a henna tattoo then had coffee back in Escondido while waiting for my henna to dry.

My second night in Boracay was completely fun. Started drinking in Cocomangas, then Guilly's Island and lastly Club Paraw. Went home at 2am with the smile on my face. I wonder why.

As I'm approaching the island of Boracay last November 5, I'm askign myself what's in store for me during my 4 day vacation on the island.

I arrived around 7pm at the port and summoned a tricycle to bring me to Escondido Resort in Station 1. As I entered my room with a queen size bed and a single bed with my own cabinet, tv, bathroom with cold/hot shower...I told myself that my grand vaca starts with this.

I immediately took a bath and dressed up and went out for me to see Boracay for the first time after 5 years and of course for Boracay to notice that her daughter (ehem) came back.

I decided to have dinner first and afterwards walked the pathway along the bars adn restaurants on the beachfront.

I went to this bar and tried their own version of WENG-WENG. After one glass, I ordered for another one. But, I can almost feel the kick of this drink.

When I got to my hotel room, I remember throwing up in the bathroom before falling to sleep.

Hahaha!

Last Octobr 10, I attended the baptismal of my friend's first baby, my latest godchild...Iver Claren that is.

Held at the church in Heritage Homes in Marilao, Bulacan around 10am.

Everyone was there. Mostly from highschool like Jonna Mae, Jolly Anne, Ryan and his wife Melody, Carina, Brian and Clarice.

Another couple which is Dai and Cholo were also present.

Of course the ninongs and ninangs were present, a baptismal isn't complete without them right? So together with me are Lea and Eden.

After the christening, we headed straight to the Clubhouse wher the reception was held and then to their former residence where the inuman was held.

My Sunday is soooo precious to me. Like it's the most important day of the week next to Friday and Saturday. But that day, Ian gave me a call saying that he just got back from his North Luzon Tour for his how in QTV. He suggested that we (Ian, Ross and me) meet up to catch up with each other.

At first, I was kinda hesitant to text Ross about Ian's plan but I thought that if Ross won't be available that day, I have an alibi for Ian. But Ross said yes and on ironically I kinda felt the urge that the three of us really should meet up.

8pm, SM North Skygarden was our meeting place. They came after an hour. Edel was there too.

We had a hard time deciding where to sit at Padi's Point. Finally after being settled we ordered for a tower of Mindoro Sling and a couple of pulutan.

After the tower, we still have high energies to get drunk that night so we transferred to a nearby bar in ABSCBN.

There, we had Frozen Margarita...three pitchers of Frozen Margarita baby!

I never thought that Sunday night drinking would be this fun!

October 1, 2010...AFTER ONE YEAR, FOUR MONTHS AND THREE WEEKS...Inzatiable finally came to a stop searching and finding "HIM"

In my previous entry, I already introduced to you guys my Nuno. Our long distance relationship just turned a week older two Fridays ago.

Obviously, our time zones don't match. He's in Portugal and I'm here in the Philippines.

Thanks to the wonders of internet specifically YM, our two worlds becomes one everytime we chat.

I already have the idea of how he looks like because of his pictures on his Facebook account but one night while we were chatting, there...he showed up!

I was surprised! Literally smiling in front of the PC.

As if having a cyber date. Nice!

Let me tell you a little secret...my Nuno is flying here in the Philippines on the 23rd of October and will stay until the 13th of November.

Of course he's flying because of me and not for anything else. It's purely vacation. All for the glory of love.

During those times, we will make the most out of everything.

I've been dying to blog this thing since I chatted with him. Geez!

Ok...Planet Romeo has always been a source of my past relationships. Not really of of my 12 exes but most of them came from this site.

I've been getting some messages from this guy. His name is Nuno, a Portuguese and obviously residing in Portugal. He said that he wanted to get to know me and all so we chatted in YM. And that's how it started.

He's into photography and working in the field of advertising.

Our conversations was different from the usual conversations I'm having. This time around, it's something mature, intellectual, witty...as I called it, something so formal yet so casual.

He's a very romantic guy who already made up his mind to settling down. After a 3-day chat, he dropped the line and I said yes! Come to think of it, it sounded a bit hilarious but you know what they say...love knows no boundaries.

Yes you can say that it's too early to call it love but sooner or later we'll get there and you can't blame me because after more than a year I smiled again. And I'm loving it!

As of now, we're planning on meeting up. We only have two options, either I go there or he go here.

I was in a shoot that day along Commonwealth area when I got a text from them asking if I can pay a visit to their newly opened business. I found out that they franchised an ICE SCRUMBLE food cart.

After the shoot, I told my crew that it won't take much of our time if we see these girls even for a while.

2010 COSMO BACHELOR BASH

September 9, 2010...that night, it was raining men in World Trade Center for the 2010 Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash.

More than 69 yummy guys not to mention the 10 centerfold hunks strutted their bods and butts and bumps down the ramp that really made the crowd go gaga to the max!

I was racing against time. The start of the event according to the invite is at 7pm. Early that morning, I was deliberately asked to go for an on the spot out of town assignment in Balayan, Batangas which is 3 hours away from the Metro.

I was even texting my friend Ian. I was really scared knowing that he's just a traffic away from the venue compared to me who left Balayan, Batangas at 6pm.

I was dropped by my crew at WTC around 9pm, and called Ate Wenna. Found my way in the venue...just in time when Joey Mead came out and the show started just as I arrived.

After some fancy games, the real show started. Aljur Abrenica was the opening act entrapped in a cage.

Then, one by one...men started coming out. Wearing skimpy skin-tone trunks and armed with their big arms and flat abs, not to mention the bulges. God! Felt like paradise.

Hahaha.

There is only one guy that I was dying to see that night... my ultimate crush as of present time, Rocco Nacino.

God, he's such a hottie! SUPER! Pak!

For the past two weeks I guess, I've been super duper busy with work. As in!

And now, time to feed my blog with some untold entries.

This is my own version of a make-up blog. Hehehe.

To start with, last September 11, 2010, Saturday, after doing our grocery for the next two weeks...I attended my close friend, Carol's birthday at their home in Bulacan to celebrate her 28th birthday.

The usual barkada were there like Paolo and her girlfriend Jheng, Bill and girlfriend Dianne, Xeng, Lizette and hubby Mervin and lastly Ynald.

Not so much drinking that night. More on chit chatting.

The next day, September 12, 2010...Ynald, Carol and me went to see the movie SA'YO LAMANG.

Ok, I'm the one who insisted of watching it. Feel-good movie.

I was really crying while watching it. But I tried to cry discreetly so my Carola nd Ynald won't tease me.

Like I CAN RELATE! Felt like Bea. (No joke, well, that's another story to tell)

I was happy during that weekend cause I got to do the things I need to do, bond with my family and friends.

We went to Ignazia Bar. After a bucket, Delton (the guy from where we edit) arrived and sat by my side. Another bucket was ordered. Afterwhich, we transferred to its neighbor bar 1029 where a live band was performing.

Maybe it's because of the beer or the band or I don't know, a dare was cast between us four and there...we kissed for 5 seconds.

Last Saturday, after a tiring re-enactment somewhere in Commonwealth, I attended this Script Writing Seminar just inside ABSCBN leaded by NCAD's (News and Current Affairs) Production Manager, Lester Chavez.

After that, I grabbed a cup of coffee together with Joyce. And then, I invited her to go to Trinoma. Right there and then she said yes.

We walked around the mall, looked at shops, clothes etc then finally settled at Starbucks.

Sorry but no pictures. Was too busy looking at guys in the mall. Hehehe.

I got a text from my friend Carol and Paolo that they will meet me in Trinoma in less than 30 minutes. Then Joyce and I parted ways after introducing her to my friends.

Once again, we saw each other again. We headed to Gerardo's where Bill, Xeng and Marvin were already waiting.

After Gerardo's, I invited them to moved to another bar where a band is playing. But it didn't work out coz that night's band wasn't good so last stop was 1920 Bar.

We got the barkada package which was surprisingly had 24 bottles and 4 types of pulutan.

God! Talk about total drunkard. As much as I want not to post this pics but I have to just for the sake of my blog. Wah!

Okay, I can hear you laughing now...stop it! Hehehe.

ALEX AND PIER'S BDAY!

Sorry guys for posting this super duper late.

I think this happened on a Wednesday. I came from a shoot for Rated K and I was rushing just to be present at Ate Pier and Alex birthday celeb in Ate Pier's pad.

It seems like everybody in Salamat Dok was there, well not really. Lol.

Since most of the people from Salamat Dok don't drink, I didn't get drunk here guys. Hurray!

We had bbq, chicken etc.

Not to mention the videoke..Clap clap clap!

I woke up around 11am last Sunday, August 29, 2010. I checked upon my phone and surprisingly read the text from Mael which he sent at 4am saying that Zelda was already in labor.

I together with my friends Ryan and Melody went over to pay her a visit. Pictures can tell a lot of things. One thing's for sure, baby Iver looks like a small version of Mael.

Two Saturdays ago, I was seen at Cabalen along West Avenue, Quezon City to attend Joaquin Arche's baptismal reception.

He's the first son of my friend Grace and her hubby Jeff.

I was with friends like Ryan and her wife Melody together with another couple friends Maela and Zelda. Geez, I'm like the only single person among the group here. Hehehe.

As you can see, Zelda's tummy is already big. Anytime, Iver (the name of her first baby) will come out.

Wonder when will be my turn...Hahaha!

Tuesday morning, August 24, 2010...dubbed as the most beautiful day in the universe because this day, one woman from around the world will be crowned Miss Universe 2010.

Sad to say, at 6am I was just preparing myself together with my researcher James and my crew for our trip back to Manila after arriving Monday morning for a coverage.

Anyways, I knew that the pageant starts around 9am. While on the road, I asked our driver to switch the radio from FM to AM...just in time to hear Ted Failon's breaking news that the VENUS RAJ aka PHILIPPINES made it to the TOP 15. I really screamed at the top of my lungs that woke up my cameraman and researcher. Hehehe. Sorry, nadala lang!

Another breaking news, Venus Raj made it to TOP 10, then TOP 5. By that time, we were already in Balintawak. I plead the driver to drive as fast as he could so I can be at the office just in time for the question and answer.

The Philippines was last called and then William Baldwin throwed the question for Venus. A simple question as it seems, but by the way Venus answered it...I knew that she lose the chance for bringing home the crown.

The hosts finally started to announce the results, the winners starting with the 4th runner-up...sad to say, after always being called last, PHILIPPINES was called first.

NONETHESS...making it to the top 5 is not that bad at all.

Bravo darling! Cheers! you put the Philippines back to map again in a positive light.

In Rated K, we are used in staying up lates due to deadlines that we have to meet or some major changes in the line-up which is inevitable if you are in the broadcast industry.

This night or early morning is just an example on how stressfull our work is, we can still find time to smile and be worry free while enjoying a delivery from McDonald's at 3am.

This should have been posted that week but since work is always getting in the way, it's just now that I find time to put it into my blog.

Everyone was there already and I just caught up with them after finishing my work.

It was a very enjoying night. I got to sing with the band. (for the nth time around)

We ended around 2am. Happy birthday Liezel! Mwah!

Coming from Ian's party, I was still drunk when the van picked me up at Meycauyan tollgate. Good thing my colleagues didn't have a clue what I just been through.

We arrieved 30 minutes before we go to air. I was really as in totally sleepy. Like my eyes were shutting down on their own. But I can't do much coz the show must go on.

After an hour of agony, we went off air. I got the chance to take a nap, well almost. What we did was pose in front of the camera.

Here's the catch, I got a crush...huge crush on one of our technical staff. His name is Mark. He's the guy wearing yellow shirt below.

I got home at 12:30, rested for an hour then off to my next appointment.

God, so this is how it feels like to be fully booked!

Ian's Birthday

Coming from a tiring yet fulfilling medical mission/live airing of Salamat Dok in Pampanga, I got home at 12:30pm. Decided to take a nap and woke up at 4:30pm. I bathe and dressed up.

I met Ross in ABSCBN before we proceed to Astoria in Ortigas where Ian will celebrate his 27th bday.

A three-layer tower of cupcakes serves as the centerpiece alongside the food are what we saw when we got to the place that night on July 31, 2010.

Of course, no party would ever be complete without drinks. And me and Ross made sure they were present. Hehehe.

Ross and I were glad to see Xeng once again.

Of course, Ian's set of friends were also present to celebrate the night.

Games were done to keep the crowd going.

Ian even hired a stand-up commedian.

One more thing nice about Ian's party is that it made me us see Don or Keiko as we used to call him once again.

So by 1am, he showed up coming from a dinner in Greenbelt.

Unfortunately, Ross and I had to escaped 30 minutes after he arrived coz we have early work that morning.

Me and Ross left at 130am. Drunk, tired yet happy!

SALAMAT DOK IN SAN FERNANDO PAMPANGA: DAY 1

Sorry guys, been busy lately. I'm pretty sure you miss my post so I have to make it up to you starting with this one.

Medical mission has always been part of Salamat Dok. For our 5th year anniversary we decided to have it in San Fernando, Pampanga last July 31, 2010.

Show started at 6am but we got to Brgy. Cutud in San Fernando around 4am to do the set-up and all.

Nothing beats a cup of hot noodles to get you going...

BUSY AND SLEEPLESS WEEKEND!

It started last Friday, a typical day at work around when I got to the office at 10am. The day was not that busy, well ok, a lil' busy coz we (Salamat Dok) should be ready with everything for the next day's live aring for our anniversary episode.

As the day come to an end I told myself that I should be hitting the sack (in the office) at 6pm. I went online for a bit but little did I know that it's almost 11pm when I looked at the clock. Since I have an editing at 12mn, I didn't bother to take a nap and just continue surfing the net.

I finished my work at 2am. By 230am, we assembled ourselves in time for our pull out to San Fernando Pampanga at 3am. By then, we hit the road.

We went on air at 6am and wrapped up at 7am. It was tiring yet fullfilling knowing that many lives have received medical help from our volunteer doctors. Around 8am, I got a text message from Xeng asking me to call him ASAP and so I did.

Xeng told me that a surprise bday party will be done for Ian in Astoria. I said yes though hesitant because I know that Ian's not yet talking to me after I stood him up a week ago.

The medical mission lasted until 10am. You can tell that everybody wants to go home especially me. So by 1230pm, I reached home. I already informed Ross and Don about the scheme that we'll pull up. I jump into my bed and slept.

My alarm woke me up at 430pm. Three hours of sleep is enough for me to get through the night. I bathe and dressed up and made my way to ABSCBN where I'll meet Ross.

Ross just made a quick dinner in Mini Stop before we proceed to Astoria. We took the MRT. When we reached Shaw station, we stopped by at 7-11 and bought a bottle of Bacardi as a gift then called a cab.

We arrived at Astoria around 9pm but Ian, the celebrant was there already. There I saw familiar faces again like Xeng and James and James (ian's boyfriend). Keiko or Don as he wanted be referred to now also came. Ross and I exit at the part by 130am coz we still have work the following day.

I got to Bulacan around 245am but I made a quick stopover at our neighbor's debut party. By 330am, I went home and bathe and got ready for another live airing in San Fernando Pampanga. By 12nn, I got home. Rested for an hour then took a bath again then change clothes, this time I have to attend a birthday party of my classmate back in highschool who just came back from Canada for work.

Finally, at 9pm I reached home. Sooooo tired and sleepsless I must say yet fulfilling. Mission accomplished!

P.S. I'll make a separate entry to these things I attended to...

ANOTHER CHURCH WEDDING...

I blog about them some months ago. They are Dai and Cholo. Good friends and former classmate from highschool.

They already had their civil wedding but this coming December, church wedding.

Yes, Dai will finally walk down the aisle same with my friends Zelda, Grace and Ryan (Hey, he also walked down the aisle)

Anyways, here's the catch...when Ryan had his wedding in Tagaytay, Dai already told me then that he's gonna get me as their wedding coordinator.

Last night, we had our first meeting in Robinson's Galleria while having coffee at Gloria Jean's.

Uber excited...Another feather on my hat.

INDIRA'S BAPTISMAL

Here's another baby added to my growing list of godchildren, Indira daughter of Ate Hannah.

Last Saturday, after manning the shoot of Rated K in Tondo, I went straight to Icebergs along Timog together with Ewa. This was the venue of the reception. I wasn't able to catch up in the church due to heavy traffic that afternoon.

Of course, Rated K staff were present that day, namely Ewa, Kulet, Iriz, Vicky, Liezel and Kuya Montes.

Indira is soooo cute in her pink dress. Bet she inherited that from me. Haha.

CERTIFIED KAPAMILYA

This is in relation to my BEHIND CLOSE DOOR post.

Some three weeks ago, I (together with 9 people from Rated K, from Production Assistant up the ranks) were called by HR one by one.

I was waiting for my turn and when I was summoned by the Production Manager to get inside the room, I found out that I am to sign a contract. a 3-YEAR CONTRACT that is as a Kapamilya.

I was not allowed to take pictures during the actual signing because of some company ethical concerns. Anyways, the offer is good so I have it signed.

For the next three years, I'm tied up with ABS-CBN. Under Rated K and Salamat Dok, two top billed programs of ABS-CBN's News and Current Affairs Department.

I used to say that I'm a Kapuso, but now, I'm a certified Kapamilya.

ENCANTADIA...

Our executive producer in Rated K, Kuya Otep tweeted me that he got something that we both like. Clueless to what it really is, I replied to his tweet.

After lunch, he arrived at the office but headed straight to his meeting along with the other executive producers then he called me up.

I excused myself but obviuosly the meeting wasn't starting yet. Then Kuya Otep reached his hand inside his bag and took out something and handed it to me.

Literally, I screamed. Of course I thanked him for the wonderful gift.

He bought a complete season (original that is) of Encantadia. The Encantadia I used to watch way back 2005 if I'm not mistaken.

I can still recall how I used to hate Sunshine Dizon for her role there.

And emulate Danaya. Really, I'm a HUGE FAN!

Currently, I'm now at episode 13. I can't wait till the next book of Encantadia comes out over GMA.

Remember my post when Salamat Dok went to Kalinga Propvince last December for our Medical Mission? I stated there that I tried Rapelling, its just that the pictures were courtesy of my friend Ate Wenna.

Finally, after 7 months, she had already uploaded them Thank you Ate Wenna.

Here's the inside story with this...the bridge where we conduct the rapel shoot, the guys from the Kalinga Mountaineering Society took 1 hour to convince me to go down. And boy I was really shaking just by standing over the edge of that bridge. It looked so easy but I was really realy as in really scared.

This is me smiling confidently before going 40 feet down.

So after the loooong wait, I went down.

And when I reached the ground, I couldn't be any happier.

ALL OF A SUDDEN...

It was drizzling last Saturday. Carol called me up and asked if I'm ok for a drink with the rest of the guys. And since I'm just in front of the tv watching National Geograophic, I said yes but when Carol told me that it's gonna be in QC, I became hesitant. First, I just got home from work that day and haven't got enough rest and it's raining.

To cut the story short, we all ended up meeting in Paolo's house and then we headed to QC.

When we reached Gerardo's we found out that the place is packed and so they asked me where should we go, I suggested 2 bars and they chose Homer's just in front of ABSCBN.

There...friends once again had the chance to catch up with each other.

HACHIKO: A DOG'S STORY (THIS MADE ME CRY)

I was like an eager beaver when I went to Quaipo three weeks ago to scout some new dvd's.

I bought 5 movies and bought another 2 that are gay flicks.

I watched Hachiko. I know for a fact that it was a real story. I remember havign a close encounter with an Akita with my shoot in Mt. Makiling during the election season. Too bad, the owner was kinda grumpy and never allowed me to take picture of his Akita.

I swear to God, I really cried while watching this movie. Actually, it was during the latter part of the film that really hit me down to my very core.

Highly recommended especially to those pet lovers particulary dogs.

COCO MARTIN AND GERALD ANDERSON

During our last meeting in Salamat Dok last week, I boastfully announced to the entire team that I will be doing Gerald Anderson for my segment assignment that week. I was commended by my Executive Producer.

My shoot happened at the location of KUNG TAYO'Y MAGKAKALAYO's set during their last taping day.

We arrived while Gerald was doing a take together with Gabby Concepcion and Kim Chui. We waited for like 30 minutes.

While waiting, Coco Martin passed by and I took the opportunity to pose with him.

I was told by the EP of the show not to take any pictures for reasons that they might be pre-empted.

SPUR OF THE MOMENT

Last Friday night, I was well almost cramming with my segment in Rated K and to think that I have an editing for my other show which is Salamat Dok.

My good good friend and girlfriend (way back from college untill now) Ross called me up and asked if we can grab some beer and catch up with each other. I was kinda feeling guilty coz it was a pre-planned bonding.

Good thing my dear friend Ross waited for me like forever and after I'm done, we went straight to 1029 just beside Ignazia Bar.

We ordered a pitcher of Margarita and some calamares.

It feels great to get to se her again since she's not that visible in ABS-CBN nowadays because of tapngs, pre-prods etc and as for me busy with meetings, shoots etc.

I really miss her. And by the way we talk and laugh that night, we really miss each other.

The band played this OMG of Usher which made us jiggy with it then Ross blurted that we go to Eivissa. I was hesitant at first considering that it's already 1am and that I need to be back on or before 3am. But hey, why not? It's been a while since we did it.

At 3am, we went back to the office and Ross bid me goodbye while I was doing my editing.

Sometimes, you just have to let things happen for you...

NEW MANILA

Two Fridays ago, my friend Liezel and Ryan went to Ignazia Bar along Mother Ignacia. As we settled on our table, the waiter asked us if we wanter to try this new beer. The idea of NEW made us said yes.

And then, we met the new Manila...The beer is called Manila.

And that night, the promo girl approached us and handed this small box and I won an I.D. lace.

Sad to say that we have to finish early that night since I have to go back to my editing for Salamat Dok.

When we entered Gerardo's Bar last Saturday after our live airing of Salamat Dok, the place was jampacked by people from the Call Center Industry. Somehow, I felt that i entered a world dominated by Call Center Agents.

It was 7:30 in the morning. The sun already rose and shining brightly in the sky and I together with my 2 sisters from Salamat Dok, Ate Wenna and Mami O decided to gulp some beer.

We did enjoy the scenes of seeing different agents who were drunk, noisy. They gave us an instant entertainment.

So after two buckets of beer, we called it a day.

MEET JOSEPH...

Coming from a bad, bad, bad date last Thursday with that guy named Jun; I seek my friend Liezel's help to get me out of that date. So after a so-called official phone call, I managed to escape from Alcatraz.

I went back to ABS-CBN to meet Liezel, Ate Doodes and Ate Joy. We went to Homer's to drown myself from that horrible date. The table just beside ours hold 4 young college guys. I was gazing at them when this guy looked into my direction and smiled.

After one hour, his friends bid him goodbye and he's left there all alone. Good thing the guy smokes and that his lighter run out of butane. He approached me and voila, he's sitted beside me. Hehehe.

His name is Joseph, a 21 year old College student of AMA University. He lives in Project 8, QC.

We (me and him) went home around 2am or was it 3am? Wink!
